Natfort Energy is a solar energy services provider based in Harare Zimbabwe, which effectively started operations in 2014. The company offers solar project engineering, procurement, construction and management (EPCM) services for both the commercial and residential sectors.

The company also has a for profit social arm of the business that was launched in 2018 addressing the energy needs of low-income households in rural off-grid communities in Zimbabwe. Providing low-cost solar energy products on PAY-AS-YOU-GO (PAYGO) a facility that allows low-income households to pay for systems through small incremental payments towards ownership of the asset. Our Impact

In Zimbabwe, Natfort Energy has sold more than 120 solar water pumps using a pay-as-you-go model. The pumps benefit over 500 farmers like Mbusi Mlalazi. Mbusi grows produce including rape, shallots, and cabbage and needed a reliable and efficient water source to increase productivity, prompting him to purchase a solar water pump from Natfort Energy. As a result, Mbusi now earns more than $400 per month selling surplus produce to150 households in his community.
